Natasha tragically passed away in 2016 at the age of 15 after a severe allergic reaction to sesame unknowingly present in a Pret a Manger baguette.

"This isn't a cure, but it absolutely transforms lives. Witnessing a patient who suffered anaphylaxis from just 4ml of milk reach a point where they can safely drink 90ml in six to eight months—it feels like a miracle."

The final results, anticipated in 2027, could pave the way for widespread NHS adoption of this groundbreaking treatment using everyday foods.

"Our ultimate goal," he explains, "is to create a world where the constant threat of allergic reactions, sometimes severe or even life-threatening, is no longer a burden."
