I was rather disappointed with the course. I already have a basic knowledge of beekeeing, despite being a new beekeeper. The language was not gender friendly and often refereed to ‘him’ meaning the beekeeper many times. Further to this, the grammar, punctuation and sentence structure was extremely poor to the point I often could not ascertain what the writer was trying to say. The course was not very international either. It was very focused on American based beekeeping and when it did mention UK beekeeping, in the briefest form, it was often wrong. Further to this, the course never mentioned Flow Hives once. This is an amazing, revolutionary advancement in beekeeping, yet not mentioned once. The course is not worth £200. I paid £20 for it on offer and I can see why. Don’t bother with this course, this information can easily be collected from Google and YouTube. The certificate isn’t recognised in the UK either.
